used to mount accessories to the saddle, lights, coolant nozzle, etc.
can be used on other models but the slide will need to be filed down a little as the mounting slot may be slightly smaller
earlier 260 and 9 inch models will require tapping a new mounting point ( and a simple spacer )
as it has to be positioned further towards the tailstock end, to give the cross slide full travel.
