Early model Hercus 1" dia crosslide dial and bushes
There are no new parts available for the smaller diameter dials and bushes
these where replaced in 1965 with larger dials and shouldered bushes to match
the size of the new dial was 1 1/2" dia
the bush was still 1" dia with the same mounting thread but had a 1 1/2" dia section to match the dial.
the new sets had the same overall length and mounting thread as the originals so there is no problem switching them over.
