this is the ideal size tool post for Hercus 9 and 260, sheraton and south bend 9

they use up to 1/2" shank tools. The 5 piece turning set of carbide tools (part No.23000), on this site, is ideal for their toll holders.

adaptor stud part No.QC-03 to suit Hercus 260 lathes is now available on this site

for the hercus, sheraton and sb9 you will need to modify the mounting plate, see the picture on this add.

If you can't do it yourself, I can modify it for you. This costs $18 and you need to purchase part QC-04 for this option.
