South Bend 9 lathe parts
I make some 700 replacement parts for the Australian made Hercus lathe.
As this machine is a clone of the 1939 South Bend 9, many parts are interchangeable.
The original reason for copying the South Bend was the WW2 war production requirements.
The main differences are in the small fasteners, which for most part are british threads.
Main components such as the main spindle have maintained the original UN threads.
all castings are quality iron, locally made and machined, without the use of scrap metals.
I am happy to talk to overseas customers (English speaking) please call Mal on +61438466008
